Taking place this May in Singapore will be mega wine trade exhibition Vinexpo Asia 2025, which is expected to gather over 1,100 exhibitors from over 20 countries.

Following its successful debut in 2023, Vinexpo Asia 2025 is set to return to Singapore after the 2024 edition in Hong Kong to reaffirm its position as the gateway to the wine and spirits market in Asia. Running 27 to 29 May, the event organised by Vinexposium is set to showcase over 1,100 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and is expected to bring in some 11,000 trade professionals from the region.

This three-day exhibition is a must-attend for industry leaders seeking unparalleled networking and business opportunities in a region poised for continued growth even as the global wine market continues to experience strong headwinds.

Vinexpo Asia 2025 in Singapore is expected to attract stakeholders from emerging markets in the region that promise great growth, such as Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, but also wider and more diverse markets in Asia Pacific, including mature wine markets like Japan, South Korea and China.

A Vinexpo Academy panel discussion at Vinexpo Asia

“Vinexpo Asia in May will be the prime event for industry leaders to connect and thrive in this dynamic region,” said Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of the Vinexposium group. “The global wine and spirits industry faces a pivotal geo-economic challenge with declining consumption worldwide.”

“In this context, seizing commercial opportunities is imperative, Lameyse added. “Southeast Asia, with Singapore as its key business hub, is where growth happens.”

According to the IWSR, Asia Pacific accounts for 10% of global wine imports, with beverage alcohol consumption forecast to grow in 2025 by 1.5%, rising to 5.9% for the ready-to-drink segment. Singapore alone represents a mature yet dynamic market, with 3% growth in the wine sector projected by 2025, with a respective 2.18% CAGR in volume through 2028 for wine as well as 3% for spirits.

More importantly, Singapore is Asia’s most favourable market for premium and ultra-premium categories with a 60% market share in volume. Despite being highly competitive, the Singapore wine and spirits market continues to gain ground year-on-year and constantly welcomes new products.
