Award-winning cocktail bar Nutmeg & Clove will celebrate its 11th anniversary with Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta, a week-long guest shift bonanza that will bring together bartending communities from around the world.
There are cocktail guest shifts. And then there are the cocktail guest shifts that Nutmeg & Clove hosts.
The award-winning Singapore-themed cocktail bar on Purvis Street really knows how to throw a party; to mark their 10th anniversary last year, for example, they unleashed Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta, a week-long cocktail celebration featuring multiple guest shifts so happening they’re still the talk of the town till today.
The good news for us cocktail hounds? Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta will be back this year for its second edition. From 25 May to 1 June 2025, Nutmeg & Clove will again throw open its doors to the global bartending community for guest shifts to commemorate its 11th anniversary. The week will feature four themed cocktail events featuring a luminary lineup of like-minded bartending friends from across the globe shaking and stirring behind the bar. They will come with jiggers in their hands and fire in their blood, to celebrate the bonds of friendship built from a passion for their craft and, some say, over too many shots.
Nutmeg calls it the ’11th Assembly of Our Global Community’. How fitting.

Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta 2025: Details at a Glance
North American Bar Community — Sunday 25 May 2025, 6pm till late
Kick off the celebrations with North America’s lauded cocktail community with this rocking powerhouse guest shift featuring Mexico City’s Prohibition-inspired Handshake Speakeasy (No.1 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024), Prophecy in Rosewood Hotel Georgia from Vancouver (No.53 on North America’s 50 Best Bars 2025), as well as San Francisco’s True Laurel (No.30 on North America’s 50 Best Bars 2024). Dropping some beats will be DJ Halyfax with a pumping mix of American pop and hip-hop.
Asia Bartending Legends Community — Tuesday 27 May 2025, 7pm till late
Get into the swing of things with some of Asia’s luminary cocktail talent at this takeover. Nutmeg & Clove will welcome the legendary Hidetsugu Ueno of Tokyo’s Bar High Five, who will be joined by Hisashi Kishi of Star Bar also of Tokyo, Chanond Puranand of Bangkok’s Hyde & Seek, and Taipei’s veteran bartender Huang Shao Lin. Completing the lineup is Singapore’s own Chef Willin Low of Wild Rocket Group, who’ll be slinging some Asian-inspired eats to go with your libations.
Global Italian Bartending Community — Thursday 29 May 2025, 7pm till late
Italy’s influence on the global cocktail scene is real, and for this guest shift some of the best Italian bartending talent — Lorenzo Querci and Giovanni Allario of Milan’s Moebius Milano, Elon Soddu from London’s AMARO BAR, Massimo Petovello from Hong Kong’s Mizunara: The Library, as well as Fabio La Pietra with brand-new concept Caffé AnarCord in São Paulo — will drop in for some Italian flair. Setting the mood for the evening will be DJ Krys with a curated mix of soft rock and pop.
Cocktails, Coffee and Brunch — Sunday 1 June 2025, 2pm to 5pm
For the grand finale of Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta? A brunch recovery session. There’s specialty coffee by local roaster Kim Guan Guan if you need caffeine, but what you really need are some killer Negronis from Leonardo Filipponi and Marco Mussi of London’s Bar Termini. Another reason to drop in? Celebrated chef-owner Mirko Febbrile of Somma will be swinging by to rustle up some eats with a special dining collaboration.
