Melodies of the Straits at Racines
In honour of La Fête de la Musique or World Music Day, Racines at Sofitel Singapore City Centre brings together the flavours of Singapore’s culinary past with Melodies of the Straits, a themed Saturday brunch buffet on 18 July 2026.
Guests are invited to feast on a curated buffet spread showcasing the best of Straits cuisine. Begin with Freshly Shucked Oysters and Chilled Seafood on Ice, then progress to Roasted Suckling Pig and Wok-Fried Salted Egg King Prawns. Savour other local delights such as Assam Curry Fish and popular favourites Singapore Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice, or you can opt to discover the umami depth of Kam Hiong White Clams.
Close the meal on a sweet note with Chilled Cheng Tng, a frothy Teh Tarik, or Warm Black Glutinous Rice with Coconut Cream.
As you indulge in your choice of eats, a two-piece live band featuring local musician Aggy Low will serenade the restaurant with nostalgic melodies and timeless local hits, creating the perfect backdrop for a Saturday well spent.
