Sake Meguri 2026
Singapore’s growing appetite for premium sake continues this July as Sake Meguri returns for its fourth edition, bringing together more than 20 Japanese breweries and over 200 sake labels for a weekend dedicated to Japan’s national drink. Organised by local retailer Sake.sg, the two-day event moves to Sands Expo & Convention Centre for the first time, with three tasting sessions expected to welcome more than 1,000 sake enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike.
Taking place from 24 to 25 July 2026, Sake Meguri 2026 offers visitors the rare opportunity to meet master brewers from across Japan while sampling a diverse range of premium sake spanning established favourites and regional discoveries. This year’s expanded lineup includes first-time participant Katsuyama Brewery from Miyagi Prefecture alongside returning crowd favourite Umenoyado, with acclaimed producers such as Hakkaisan Brewery, Choya Umeshu and Kirishima Shuzo also represented. Beyond tasting, guests can engage directly with the brewers to learn more about the craftsmanship, heritage and stories behind each bottle.
As in previous editions, the festival combines education with retail opportunities. Attendees can enjoy event-exclusive promotions of up to 60% off selected bottles, while the popular Surprise Box returns alongside a lucky draw offering prizes including a luxury yacht experience worth up to S$3,000 for shoppers spending at least S$200. Every ticket also includes a goodie bag valued at more than S$400 featuring sake samples and vouchers from the event’s Japanese dining partners.
New for 2026 is an Exclusive VIP Session on Friday evening, offering access to rare sake labels, closer interactions with brewers and sake experts, and additional perks including a Grab voucher. General admission sessions take place on Saturday, with early bird tickets priced from S$58, while bundle options are also available for groups.
