Women & Tipple: A Women-Led Bar Takeover (Avoca, Hong Kong)

This Women’s Month, Hong Kong’s skyline bar scene gets a distinctly female-forward shake-up as Women & Tipple lands at Avoca on 9 March 2026 for a one-night-only bar takeover that pairs leading bartenders with founders, creators and entrepreneurs from across Asia.

Presented by regional drinks title DrinkCollectiv in partnership with Mondrian Hong Kong, Women & Tipple began in Manila as a cross-cultural platform spotlighting women in drinks. This Hong Kong edition brings that same energy to the 38th floor of Avoca, the harbour-facing cocktail bar known for its inventive, locally-inspired serves and high-energy atmosphere.

Across two takeover sets, acclaimed bartenders from Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai and Shenzhen will collaborate with influential women from the lifestyle space to co-create signature cocktails available for one night only.

8pm–9pm

• Lupus Chan (Avoca, Hong Kong) × Britty Ko (lifestyle influencer, Korea)

9pm–10pm

• Kim Liu (Wing Lei Bar, Macau) × Cecilia Wong (wine and spirits critic, Hong Kong)
• Ring Zhao (Bar Choice, Shanghai/Shenzhen) × Tyffanie Short (One Earth Organics, Philippines)

Each pairing will present two bespoke cocktails shaped by shared values and personal narratives — drinks designed to celebrate contrast, collaboration and creative dialogue.

Beyond the bar, guests can explore a curated showcase of women-built lifestyle brands centred on sustainability, craftsmanship and social impact. Featured labels include fine jewellery house ARAO, skincare line LA THEA, lifestyle scent brand The Blomstre, and organic beauty brand One Earth Organics, with founders present throughout the evening.

With DJs, harbour views and an easy flow between cocktails and conversation, this Women & Tipple edition in Hong Kong promises an open, industry-meets-lifestyle gathering that feels as social as it is celebratory.
