Singapore’s hospitality scene rises to new heights with the opening of Raffles Sentosa Singapore, the country’s first all-villa luxury resort.
Raffles Hotels & Resorts has officially unveiled Raffles Sentosa Singapore, its ultra-luxurious resort island retreat on Sentosa.
Located just 15 minutes away from Singapore’s bustling Central Business District, Raffles Sentosa Singapore is the Lion City’s first-ever all-villa resort, offering a total of 62 villas ranging from a one-bedroom 211 square metre villa to the sprawling four-bedroom 650 square metre Royal Villa. Set atop a hilltop amidst the island’s verdant tropical greenery, the exclusive sanctuary seamlessly blends nature and heritage while promising the refined elegance and impeccable hospitality the Raffles brand is known for.
“We look forward to welcoming guests and local visitors to enjoy Raffles Sentosa Singapore, a distinct retreat in one of the world’s most exciting cities,” says Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, Cluster General Manager of Raffles Sentosa Singapore and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.
“While just a short distance from central Singapore, this private sanctuary offers a serene escape where guests can connect with nature while indulging in the world-class hospitality for which Raffles is renowned,” he adds.
Designed by acclaimed international design studio Yabu Pushelberg, the resort’s private villas exude understated opulence, each featuring expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, a private pool, and an outdoor terrace, creating a seamless connection between indoor comfort and the breathtaking natural surroundings.
Then there’s Raffles Sentosa Spa, housed within a restored heritage landmark. Boasting a total of 13 treatment rooms, it offers an array of bespoke wellness experiences from holistic massages to hydrotherapy treatments for those seeking to rest mind, body and soul. You can work out at its state-of-the-art fitness centre or, if you prefer, hit the greens with preferential access over at Sentosa Golf Club. Otherwise the resort provides direct entry to Tanjong Beach for those seeking waterside recreation.
Raffles Sentosa Singapore is also poised to become a key culinary destination, with five world-class restaurants and lounges for the jet-setting epicurean. There’s its flagship restaurant Empire Grill helmed by Chef Bjoern Alexander – previously of Michelin-starred Matera – that showcases contemporary Italian cuisine, while elegant Chinese restaurant Royal China serves refined Cantonese classics.
Then there’s Japanese omakase restaurant Iyasaka by Hashida led by Chef Kenjiro Hashida, while Raffles Room is a sophisticated lounge serving up the brand’s renowned afternoon tea experience. Finally there’s the Chairman’s Room, a speakeasy-inspired bar where connoisseurs of fine tipples can indulge in rare whiskies, cognacs, and wine.
Raffles Sentosa Singapore is also set to be a sought-after destination for weddings, celebrations and corporate events with its stunning natural backdrop and state-of-the-art event spaces. Its elegant ballrooms can host up to 400 guests for banquets, while the lush outdoor setting makes a perfect canvas for romantic garden ceremonies.
To commemorate its highly anticipated debut, the resort is offering a ‘Welcome Home’ experience, which includes private roundtrip transfers, daily breakfast for two at Empire Grill, and a complimentary Sentosa Sling. Available for stays from 1 March to 30 September 2025 (with bookings open until 31 May 2025), rates start from S$1,698 per villa per night (subject to service charge and taxes).
