‘Roots, Rewritten’: Quenino x Morsels

Sujatha Asokan, Chef de Cuisine of Quenino, is set to partner Petrina Loh, chef-owner of Morsels for a one-night collaborative dinner on Friday 13 March 2026 as part of Artyzen Singapore’s International Women’s Day programme that examines heritage not as nostalgia, but as something living, adaptable, and deeply personal.

Titled ‘Roots, Rewritten’, this five-course menu brings together two Singaporean chefs who have each carved distinct paths guided by instinct, conviction, and an unshowy confidence in their own voices. Drawing from the flavours they grew up with, the dinner reimagines familiar Singaporean references through modern technique and thoughtful restraint, allowing memory and curiosity to sit comfortably side by side.

Rather than dividing the menu into signature moments, the collaboration unfolds as a conversation, with one or two dishes co-created to reflect shared perspectives and points of overlap. A highlight of the evening is a new dish developed by Chef Su, inspired by the spirit of rojak — an idea that captures the essence of the collaboration itself: cultures, influences, and personal histories brought together into a single, considered expression.
