Singapore Rum Festival returns as RUM FEST Singapore, a celebration of rum that will take place at Millenia Walk 2 to 4 August 2024.
Rum lovers, take note. If you went to Singapore Rum Festival at Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore last year, it’s back again this year as RUM FEST. Happening over the first weekend of August this three-day festival continues to celebrate the richness and diversity of the world of rum but at the atrium of Millenia Walk.
Run by a collective of individuals who love all things rum, the event will showcase over 20 rum brands from the portfolios of various spirits distributors across town. Festival goers can expect to see brands ranging from familiar Caribbean and South American marques such as Puerto Rico’s Bacardi, Diplomatico and Santa Teresa from Venezuela, El Salvador’s Ron Colon, and Neisson from Martinique, to even rums from Asian producers such as Cambodia’s Samai, Thailand’s Shakara, as well as Camikara from India, among many others.
Alongside tasting experiences, the event will feature curated masterclasses by industry experts for those who want to learn more in-depth about rum or taste exclusive expressions. A cocktail bar on site will serve up some delicious rum-based drinks, and there’s even a Daiquiri challenge presented by Ron Colon for cocktail enthusiasts on 4 August.
A range of Caribbean-inspired eats will be available for you to line your tummies in preparation for serious rum drinking too, because what’s a rum festival without food?
Tickets are priced at S$28+ per person for the 2 August session, and $48++ per person for 3 and 4 August. A two-day pass for 3 and 4 August is also available at S$88++. Tickets will include complimentary tastings of rums on display. Entry for masterclasses are priced individually from around S$10-20 per session and can be purchased on site.
