Japanese elegance has found a new coastal address — the newly opened Prince Hotel Da Nang brings Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts’ signature omotenashi spirit to Vietnam’s sun-kissed central coast.

What used to be the former Sel de Mer Hotel Suites on the city’s central coast was recently unveiled by Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts as the new Prince Hotel Da Nang, its first property in Vietnam.
Located just moments from My Khe Beach, Prince Hotel Da Nang features 164 rooms and suites, each with private balconies overlooking either the vibrant cityscape or the East Sea. The hotel’s minimalist aesthetic — soft palettes, clean lines, and contemporary touches — reflects the seamless fusion of Japanese design sensibility and Vietnamese coastal charm.
Guests can expect a refined lineup of amenities: a rooftop infinity pool, a fully-equipped gym, along with multiple dining and bar concepts including The Speakeasy, a stylish rooftop venue offering 360-degree views of the Da Nang skyline. The hotel’s culinary offerings are designed to celebrate both Japanese precision and local Vietnamese flavours, while the soon-to-open Annona Spa promises tranquil treatments blending Japanese artistry with local herbs and premium Thalgo skincare products.
The latest outpost of the renowned Japanese hospitality group also serves as its omotenashi-inspired service culture. Known for its ‘Service from the Heart’ philosophy, staff members each wear an origami-shaped heart worn on their uniforms — a quiet reminder of the brand’s century-long tradition of genuine hospitality.
With international visitor numbers to Vietnam up by more than 20% compared to last year, Prince Hotel Da Nang sits as an option for travellers who appreciate craft and calm in equal measure.
