Ceretto Wine Dinner at Sophia

One for Piedmont purists and Italian wine lovers alike, Sophia at The St. Regis Singapore hosts a one-night-only wine dinner spotlighting Ceretto, the acclaimed family-run estate ranked No. 19 in the World’s 50 Best Vineyards 2025.

The evening brings together a refined multi-course Italian menu with five carefully selected Ceretto wines, tracing the house’s philosophy of site expression and restraint across Langhe, Barbaresco and Barolo.

Hosted by Marino Braccu, Ceretto’s Brand Manager, the dinner unfolds as a guided tasting experience, pairing Sophia’s polished, ingredient-driven Italian cooking with benchmark Piedmontese expressions. Highlights include the floral Langhe Arneis Blangé DOC 2024, the poised Barbera d’Alba Piana DOC 2023, the structured Barbaresco DOCG 2022, and a finale of Barolo — including the single-vineyard Barolo Bussia DOCG 2020 — matched against dishes such as Garganelli alla Salsiccia and Bistecca della Galizia alla Griglia.

Ceretto’s presence at Sophia extends beyond the dinner itself, with selected wines also featured as Wines of the Month from January through February, reinforcing the restaurant’s ongoing focus on classic Italian regions interpreted with contemporary clarity.
