Singapore’s cocktail scene is set to get extremely lively this March when Bar Convent Singapore comes to town. While this latest edition of the leading international bar and beverage trade show in Singapore – which takes place on 3 and 4 March – is strictly trade only, the activities that surround it, particularly the guest shifts by visiting international and regional bartenders, are largely open to the cocktail-loving public.
We’ve scrambled together this guide to the best bartending guest shifts and other cocktail-centric events happening around Bar Convent Singapore to help you drink and party well. We’ll be updating this as we get more details, but in the meantime ready your livers all you cocktail lovers!

Hosting not one, not two, but a whopping four bartenders for its first-ever guest shift session is SUSHISAMBA. The multi-concept vibe dining destination gathers together Giancarlo Mancio, Arcadius Rybak, David Cordoba and Simone Rossi – four legendary bartenders turned bar consultants all of whom have played an integral role in its cocktail programme – promising an unforgettable showcase of mixology that will be the first of many guest shifts to come. Cordoba and Rossi will be manning the sticks at SUSHISAMBA’s main bar, while Mancino and Rybak will helm its upper-level party venue SAMBAROOM.

Another four-man guest shift will take place at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore’s ’60s-inspired cocktail lounge Republic, which will welcome an extraordinary lineup of Hong Kong bartending talent with Saan Dhakal of Courtroom, Edgarito Santillan and Jake Erder of Honky Tonks Tavern, and Mizunara: The Library‘s Massimo Petovello. That’s three distinctly different Hong Kong bar experiences in one spot for this exclusive evening.
