Beer, breathtaking views, and a new award — Singapore’s craft microbrewery LeVeL33 lands a Guinness World Record.

If craft beer was ever meant to be enjoyed with a view, Singapore’s LeVeL33 took that idea to its absolute limit — 149.32 metres up in the sky, to be exact. It’s taken a while, but the city’s iconic rooftop microbrewery has now secured a Guinness World Record as the highest microbrewery in a building, solidifying its place as both an engineering feat and a bucket-list experience for beer lovers.

When Dr. Martin Bém founded LeVeL33 in 2010, his vision wasn’t just to serve craft beer but to elevate the entire experience — literally. His team spent months orchestrating the delicate task of hoisting brewing equipment, including 8,000kg of tanks, into Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 1.

Nearly 15 years later, LeVeL33 has been recognised with a Guinness World Record.

Despite its futuristic setting, LeVeL33’s beer program is deeply rooted in tradition. Brewmaster Gabriel Garcia crafts beers using European brewing techniques, keeping the brewing process authentic while serving fresh, tank-to-tap beer. Visitors can sip on Viennese-style lagers, Irish stouts, and signature Czech pilsners while taking in Singapore’s skyline.

Beyond its microbrewery, LeVeL33 has built an entire culinary experience around craft beer. Its ContemBrewery cuisine blends brewing elements into modern dishes, ensuring that the menu complements the beers.

The breathtaking view from LeVeL33

While the world’s highest brewery is a great accolade, LeVeL33 isn’t stopping there. As it approaches its 15th anniversary, the team is looking toward sustainable collaborations, global expansions, and new partnerships that could take this high-flying concept even further.

For those looking to experience the world’s highest microbrewery, it is open daily from 12pm to 11pm at Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 1. Whether it’s for a casual pint at the terrace, a refined meal at its Barons de Rothschild private dining room, or just the view, LeVeL33 proves that beer really does taste better at the top.
