Visit these bartending guest shifts, cocktail dinners, and more to celebrate the best of cocktail culture as Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 goes to Macau this July.
Macau may be better known for its lively casinos and tourism industries, but the city will see its cocktail scene get extremely lively with the global cocktail glitterati set to descend upon the city for Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025.
While the latest edition of the awards ceremony — which will be announced at Wynn Palace Macau on 15 July — is strictly trade only, the activities that surround it, particularly the guest shifts by visiting international and regional bartenders, will be largely open to the cocktail-loving public.
Cocktail enthusiasts will especially want to be hanging around Wynn Palace Macau, designated ground zero of most cocktail activations happening during this period — expect dozens of guest shifts at cocktail hideout Wing Lei Bar and Palace Reserve Club, for example, as well as various cocktail pop-ups and chef collaborations at lauded dining establishments such as award-winning Cantonese restaurant Chef Tam’s Seasons and Japanese restaurant Mizumi.
But that’s not all. There’s plenty happening across the pond in Hong Kong as well.
We’ve scrambled together this guide to the best bartending guest shifts and other cocktail-centric events happening around this Asia’s 50 Best Bars period in Macau — and Hong Kong — to help you drink and party well. We’ll be updating this as we get more details but in the meantime, ready your livers!
