Tucked within the Michelin-starred Caprice at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, the new ‘Elements’ cocktail bar menu offers a sensory journey of high-concept libations that translate the textures and forces of nature into beautifully crafted, story-driven drinks.
Cocktail enthusiasts are most likely to drop into award-winning cocktail lounge Argo when visiting Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, but some may not know that Caprice, the hotel’s flagship French restaurant, has a bar of its own. And with the debut of its newest cocktail menu, the restaurant is inviting guests on an imaginative journey where the natural world is reinterpreted, retextured, and reimagined in liquid form.
Called ‘Elements’, the new menu by Caprice Bar Manager Anyss Saintilan comprises nine show-stopping cocktails, each a creative expression of a fundamental texture or force in nature — flower, cotton, water, leaf, leather, fire, feather, wood, and air.
But it’s more than just flavour. These are high-concept drinks meant to be sensory narratives, captured in a glass. Even the menu itself — which comes as individual boxes with tactile clues to the drink’s inspiration that guests can experience and interact with — is designed to evoke the various elements on show.

You can begin your sensory journey with Flower, for example, a saffron-sparked aperitif nodding to Chef Guillaume Galliot’s culinary lexicon that sees a house-made carbonated saffron water balanced Campari and vermouth in a silky, bittersweet aperitivo, or Cotton, which fuses the minty crispness of a Grasshopper with the frothy indulgence of a Ramos Gin Fizz. The result? A creamy, cloud-like dessert cocktail that floats above expectations.
You also have Leaf, a gin-based highball channelling Southeast Asia with pandan, celery, and absinthe, while Leather reinvents the New York Sour with smoky Japanese whisky and a Bordeaux float infused with vanilla. Its garnish? House-made fruit leather, of course.

And for those who love their punchy cocktails? Fire arrives with flair — literally — flambéed tableside, offering dessert-like flavours of banana and chocolate around a rum core. Otherwise there’s Feather, a decadent blend of duck fat-washed Armagnac and Sauternes that nods to foie gras and French terroir.
With ‘Elements’, Saintilan and his team at Caprice have crafted a cocktail bar menu that is not just mixology, but also a masterclass in storytelling and flavour. Come for pre-drinks, or linger after dinner and let your evening unfurl in the best way while soaking in the glittering sights of Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour.
The new ‘Elements’ cocktail collection is now available, with each drink priced at HKD220++.
