The Coach Restaurant Singapore takes the classic New York steakhouse and dresses it in full runway swagger, serving woodfired indulgence and brand storytelling in equal measure at Jewel Changi Airport.
There are fashion brands that dabble in dining, and then there’s Coach — a house that’s decided, quite literally, to serve its heritage medium-rare over wood fire. Completing its advent into Singapore’s F&B scene, following The Coach Coffee Shop in Sentosa and The Coach Bar in Keong Saik, is The Coach Restaurant Singapore, located at Jewel Changi Airport right next to the Coach boutique.
Overlooking Jewel’s iconic Rain Vortex, the 56-seat dining room comes with a 10-seat bar and 10-seat chef’s counter — with a full-sized yellow New York cab hangs theatrically overhead — that’s surrounded by curved ceilings, along with warm archival hues, bronze mirrored walls, poured terrazzo and tropical wood louvres that offer a distinctly Southeast Asian pulse beneath the Manhattan slick.
There’s also the unrestrained tribute to Coach’s heritage as the original American house of leather; think details like menu covers, napkins, placemat, and aprons crafted with glove tanned leather.

Full leather seats and banquettes complete the Coach luxury look and experience.
As for the menu itself? The Coach Restaurant Singapore leans confidently into all the New York steakhouse staples, much of which is prepared in the open woodfire kitchen helmed by Head Chef Kurt Sombero (an alumni of Burnt Ends and Meatsmith Little India).
You’ll want to begin with starters such as a caviar-topped The Black and White Bagel, a nod to New York City’s iconic black and white cookie, and the Japanese Yellowfin Tuna Tartare and Classic Steak Tartare from the raw bar. But the real winner here is the fried Maryland Crab Cake, stuffed full of blue swimmer crabmeat with nary a filler, and properly spiced with the imperative Old Bay seasoning.
For a more casual bite, The NY Slice is your classic floppy New York pizza layered with just tomato and mozzarella that totally hits the spot, as does The Chicken Bucket which comes as five well-brined and perfectly fried crispy drumsticks that comes in a Coach branded leather bucket that you want to smear with its house-made sauces of hot honey, hot sauce and ranch.

But it’s the steaks that slap. Go big with any steak from the Butcher’s Selection section, ranging from USDA Prime Black Angus cuts and prized Japanese Satsuma Wagyu A5, each expertly grilled over wood fire and served with a whole head of roasted garlic and chef’s pick of condiments.
Beyond the bovine, the Dover Sole dressed in citrus caper brown butter or Lemon-Thyme Chicken are guaranteed to satisfy. But what you really really want is the indulgent Maine Lobster, air-flown live from the East Coast — of the US of A, not the eastern part of Singapore — and simply grilled over open flames to showcase its freshness, and finished with black pepper hollandaise and a squeeze of lemon.
The dessert menu includes a towering 20 Layer Chocolate Cake with dark chocolate ganache and caramel, and the dramatic Flaming PB&J Bombe Alaska.

As for its beverage list, there’s a 100-bottle all-American wine list — think bright Sonoma Chardonnay, muscular Napa Cabernet, and a few under-the-radar gems thrown in for the curious — as well as a cocktail programme to complete a right proper New York steakhouse experience.
Is it a steakhouse? A brand experience? A New York postcard with a Singapore stamp? It’s all that and more. The Coach Restaurant Singapore is, above all else, fun with just a little bit of runway sashay. Fashion-branded dining often collapses under the weight of its own concept, but here it somehow works.
