With over 500 labels from 150 breweries and a parallel craft beer showcase, Sake Matsuri Singapore 2026 returns to the F1 Pit Building as Southeast Asia’s most ambitious celebration of Japanese brewing culture yet.
Southeast Asia’s largest sake festival makes its annual comeback as Sake Matsuri Singapore again takes over the F1 Pit Building from 28 to 29 March 2026. Returning for its 12th edition — and the first of two editions this year — Sake Matsuri Singapore 2026 will pour more than 500 labels of sake and artisanal Japanese spirits, representing some 150 breweries from across Japan to firmly establish the festival as the region’s definitive celebration of Japanese brewing culture.
Among the anticipated highlights this year are debut appearances from Kyoto’s Yamamoto Honke of the historic Fushimi district, introducing its Gold Medal-winning Shinsei Daiginjo and Matsu no Midori to Singapore for the first time, alongside Tonoike Shuzo, whose “Sanran” Daiginjo has frequently earned top honours at the annual Japan Sake Awards.
Expanding beyond sake, the Sake Matsuri Singapore organisers will also be kicking off the inaugural Japan HopFest, a separate festival at the same venue spotlighting rare Japanese craft beers — many flown in exclusively for the weekend — as well as a newly curated Matsuri Vintage Market in collaboration with The Retro Factory. Expect over 20 vendors presenting rare vinyl, collectible watches, vintage jewellery, bespoke millinery and retro fashion, broadening the event into a multi-sensory celebration of Japanese craftsmanship and lifestyle.
The combined festival unfolds across two levels of the F1 Pit Building, with Japan HopFest occupying the first floor while Sake Matsuri Singapore 2026, with its multiple free-flow sake tasting sessions will take place on Level 2.
For Sake Matsuri Singapore, each day offers two three-hour tasting sessions (11am–2pm and 4pm–7pm), complemented by five expert-led masterclasses covering sake, shochu and Japanese spirits. Early bird tickets (available until 15 February 2026) start from S$45 for single-entry access, with bundle and VIP options also available. Regular pricing applies thereafter.
