Returning this May, Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta 2026 brings a tightly curated lineup of global bar talent to Purvis Street, distilling the energy of the international cocktail circuit into one week of focused, high-impact exchange.

Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta makes its return this May, and promises to be its biggest and noisiest yet. Running from 24 to 31 May 2026, the annual cocktail celebration by pioneering local bar Nutmeg & Clove will bring together 14 collaborators from across the world — from Rome and New York and Washington D.C. to Mexico City, São Paulo and Seoul — for a series of bar takeovers that collapse geography into a single address.

The third edition of Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta promises a raucous week-long reminder of how far Singapore’s cocktail culture has come, and how much of that journey has been shaped by bars willing to look outward while staying rooted at home.

Structured across four themed nights, Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta 2026 reads like a compressed world tour. It opens with a Rome Edition on 24 May that brings a slice of contemporary Italian cocktail culture to the bar paired with Roman-inspired plates, moving the spotlight to the United States on 26 May presenting two sharply contrasting expressions of modern American mixology.

The Latin Edition on 28 May arguably offers the most kinetic energy of the series, a night that spans agave, whisky and the broader language of Latin American drinks culture — backed by street-driven food pairings that mirror the region’s bold, immediate flavours. The festival closes on 31 May with an Asia Family Feast, a fittingly communal finale that brings together regional talents, supported by wok-fired dishes and a more relaxed, celebratory tempo.

Yes, in a city with a cocktail calendar already crowded with guest shifts and global bar pilgrimages, few homegrown events have managed to distill the same energy into something as cohesive — and as enduring — as the Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta, one that is fiercely adamant Singapore remains a relevant global cocktail capital.

Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta 2026: Details at a Glance

Rome Edition | Sunday, 24 May 2026 | 8PM till late

The festival opens with an Italian takeover hosted by Patrick Pistolesi of Drink Kong (World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, #40) and Riccardo Rossi of Freni e Frizioni (World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, #58), two of Rome’s most recognised names in contemporary cocktail culture. The evening features a menu of Italian-inspired cocktails paired with bites from Medusa Osteria Romana, channeling the bold, expressive spirit of the Roman bar scene.

United States of America Edition | Tuesday, 26 May 2026 | 8PM till late

Two of America’s most talked-about bartenders take over on 26 May — Harrison Ginsberg of Overstory (North America’s 50 Best Bars 2026, #33) and Christine Kim of Service Bar (North America’s 50 Best Bars 2026, #39). The night pairs top-shelf American mixology with iconic American eats, with Ginsberg and Kim each bringing a distinctly different approach to the craft.

Latin Edition | Thursday, 28 May 2026 | 8PM till late

The Latin Edition spotlights three of the region’s most celebrated bars in a single evening: Gina Barbachano of Hanky Panky (North America’s 50 Best Bars 2025, #35), Jose Luis Leon of Licorería Limantour (North America’s 50 Best Bars 2026, #20), and Márcio Silva of Exímia (World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, #61). The night showcases the depth and breadth of Latin American bartending — from agave to whisky, with flavours anchored in the region’s street food traditions, brought to life through bold, flavour-packed tacos by LA BIRRIA, known for its inventive takes on Mexican street flavours.

Asia Family Feast | Sunday, 31 May 2026 | 8PM till late

The festival closes with an Asian homecoming. Wok-fired dishes from WOKIN by KEK Seafood anchor the food programme, while an assembly of regional talent takes to the bar: Michayla Killoran of Virtù (World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, #45), Athena Wang of Booking, Felix Jo of Villa Records and Lola Lau round out a pan-Asian lineup that celebrates the diversity of the continent’s cocktail culture. DJ Chuin provides the soundtrack.
