This June, The Masses is set to host Kuala Lumpur’s Château Dionne to deliver a boundary-blurring 10-course tasting menu over a three-day popup where French haute technique meets the punch and personality of Southeast Asian street food.
Diners in Singapore are in for a culinary cross-border treat as popular local Franco-Asian eatery The Masses welcomes Malaysia’s acclaimed Château Dionne for a three-day collaborative pop-up this month that promises a 10-course dialogue between French fine dining and Southeast Asian street food culture.
Running from 27 to 29 June 2025 at The Masses, this exclusive collaboration sees Chef Dylan Ong of The Masses join forces with Chef Andy Choy of Kuala Lumpur’s contemporary French dining gem Château Dionne, together with their respective teams, for a 10-course menu that reinvents the familiar through refined technique and premium produce — a playful, precise, and deeply personal culinary exchange.

Each course pays homage to beloved regional dishes — think Assam Laksa, Orh Luak, Ngoh Hiang, Rojak, Hei Mee, Lap Mei Fan, and even Chicken Rice — but reframed with French techniques and surprising textures for a deft reimagining of familiar comfort food through a haute cuisine lens.
Your favourite oyster omelette? It comes as an oyster-stuffed beignet. The Lap Mei Fan? It turns up as beautifully-browned brioche. Your Malaysian hawker favourite of pig stomach soup? Reimagined as a poivre blanc veloute.
And you’ll want to try their elevated take on chicken rice.

This collab is culinary creativity as its youthful best.
This The Masses x Château Dionne pop-up is priced at S$78.90++ per diner (minimum two persons), with optional wine pairing is available at S$48++ per diner, featuring a welcome drink and pours of Astoria Prosecco, Vermentino Toscano, and Château La Bastienne Montagne St Émilion.
